Processing time

Your order is usually ready for shipping or pickup within 1 - 3 working days. However, this does not apply if you have yarn to be dyed in your order - it may take up to 2 - 5 working days before the order is ready, as we deliver everything in one shipping. This is shown on the product page for the colorways in question. Here we show an example of how it might look:

 

Please note that there may be delivery delays in periods of sale/campaigns/high season.

Shipping in Norway

We ship with Posten/Bring and offer the following shipping methods:

- Package delivered in your mailbox
- Package delivered to collection point
- Package delivered home

Package to mailbox

The package is delivered directly to your mailbox. The package can be tracked.

If the package cannot be delivered to the mailbox:
If the recipient's mailbox is locked, if there is no room for the package, or for other reasons it is not possible to deliver the package in the mailbox, the package is delivered to the recipient's post office or Post i Butikk. The recipient receives a reminder to pick up the package after 3 and 11 days. If the package is still not collected after 14 days, it will be returned to the sender.

The additional service Bag on the door:
You can choose for the postman to hang your package in a bag on the door if it will not fit in the letterbox instead of having it delivered to the collection point. This is at no extra cost. In order for the additional service Pose on the door to be able to be carried out, the following criteria must be met:

Use unit number/floor number must be entered in the address if the recipient lives in an apartment
The distance from the mailbox to the recipient's door must not be more than 250 m
The recipient's house must be clearly marked with the house number and floor
The door must be clearly marked with the recipient's name
The post office must have access to the recipient's door, e.g. by locked outer door to common entrance
Bag on the door cannot be used for recipients with a PO Box address
In cases where the above criteria are not met, the shipment is delivered to the recipient's post office or Post in store. Packages where the recipient has accepted delivery as a bag on the door, this happens at the recipient's risk.

Package to collection point

The package can be picked up at Post in Store, Post Office, in a parcel machine or in a parcel box. The recipient acknowledges (except for vending machines and parcel boxes). The packing boxes are placed outdoors, and have no insulation.

E-notification (sms/e-mail) requires that we have a mobile number or e-mail address. Alternatively, the recipient is notified with a collection notice/slip in the mailbox. It is also notified via Posten's app if the recipient uses it.

If the delivery method/place does not suit, the recipient can order 1) delivery to a pick-up location of their choice, 2) home delivery or 3) the package left at the agreed location. Change of delivery method/place is at the recipient's expense and risk.

The collection deadline for all packages is 14 days. When using the SMS/email notification and app, a reminder is sent on day 3 and day 11. A physical reminder is sent to the recipient after 5 days. Packages that are not picked up within the deadline will be returned. From 01/10/2022, the collection deadline for parcels collected at Post i Butikk and Pakkeboks will change from 14 days to 7 days. The recipient can request an extended collection period from 7 to 14 days free of charge via the Posten app or SMS.

Package delivered home

Delivered during the day at 08–17 or in the evening 17–21 (cities and towns). We also have Saturday delivery at 10–15 in Oslo.
At the recipient's door against a receipt. Packages that have not been possible to deliver can be picked up by the recipient at Post in a shop or Post Office. Packages where the recipient has accepted that delivery can take place without a signature will be left in accordance with the agreement. This happens at the recipient's risk.

We reserve the right to deliver to certain addresses, for example to islands without road connections

If the package cannot be delivered, it will be sent to the recipient's local Post i Butikk.

The recipient is notified by SMS when the package has been loaded onto the car on the delivery day. In cities and towns, the recipient will receive information about the estimated delivery time within an hourly interval. Then the car can be tracked in real time, and you can make choices along the way, such as changing the delivery day or authorizing Posten to leave the package at the door or at a specified location**.

For packages delivered in the evening, we send an SMS to the recipient with a link to our digital interface. Here, the recipient will receive information about the estimated delivery time within a one-hour interval, follow the package in real time and make choices along the way.

The collection deadline for all domestic parcels is 14 days. Packages that are not picked up within the deadline will be returned. A reminder is sent to the recipient after 5 days. From 01/10/2022, the collection deadline for parcels collected at Post i Butikk and Parkelbox will change from 14 days to 7 days. The recipient can request an extended collection period from 7 to 14 days free of charge via the Posten app or SMS.

 

Free shipping applies to the lowest shipping rate (Norway only).

Estimated shipping is 1-5 working days, depending on where in Norway you live.

You can pick up your order contactless from us at Kleppe (may not apply to some products). This is of course free of charge. You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up.

International shipping

We ship to most countries in Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Taxes and import costs in your country are added - it is recommended to check these on the customs pages in your country before ordering. Norway is not a member of the EU, but we are part of the IOSS scheme. This means that EU citizens are charged VAT at the time of purchase and avoid other import duties. However, this only applies to orders up to €150.

Orders outside Norway are sent with UPS.

Return shipping

Unique Yarns offers free return shipping for customers in Norway. We do not cover return shipping for customers outside Norway. According to Norwegian law, you claim the right of withdrawal for online shopping within 14 days of receiving the goods, provided that they can be returned in unopened/unused condition.
